A neat little project that we did up for SFOTR 5, but unfortunately it didn't sell.

These hand pieces are known as hand flowers, and also sometimes as 'slave bracelets'.

This one features a glow in the dark T-visor section that is meant to look like--you guessed it--Samus Aran's helmet visor.

This piece is currently for sale if anyone is interested, for $20 + a small shipping fee.

Chain mail's awesome. I took a course once... if I had chosen a project this small, it might not be sitting unfinished in my closet today. (I was going for a sash. What Star Trek-watching kid didn't want a chain mail sash like Worf's?)

Clever use of Samus's helmet design. The best part is that you know it's about a game character, but to non-gamers, it just looks like an interesting colour choice. No awkward explanations needed.

Hmm... this is making me wonder what Samus would look like in real armour instead of crazy future armour. Then again, there are probably 50 different versions on dA already...

I was completely self taught, lol. And the biggest things I've done so far are just tops for clubbing and such, and those do take forever. I've thought about making Worf's sash, but I've thus far been undecided on a weave.

Thanks. ^^ And yes, her colour scheme does just sort of lend itself to being pretty without needing to have a clue what you're looking at. Somehow, she manages NOT to look too festive.

Samus in chainmaille, lol. That'd be one to see.
