A set of military style spats I did for one of my steampunk characters. Chiefly, they were done to hide the zippers in that particular pair of boots.

Took me a few hours, especially since it's the first time I've done anything of the sort.

Next time, stiffer fabric! Or a cleverly placed piece of boning.

As I mentioned in the description, since I didn't have your boots on hand, I have fitted them as closely as I could manage, but you might need a safety pin or two to make them perfect to your boots. I hope they are what you wanted.

Hello again, I apologize for the long wait.

I've had a look at different fabric and been able to find some decent prices. All I need to know now is you wanted a rougher, thicker fabric, or if you were looking for a smoother, more elegant and formal fabric for the white in the spats.

Well since they're fabric, and thus relatively easy to ship, I'd definitely be willing to make a pair for someone. ;) I would just need to get a good look/picture of the boots/shoes you'd want them on, as adjustments need to be made for the style of shoe.

Give me a shout if you decide you would seriously like me to do you a set. I'll be able to give you a materials quote once I find out what you'd like. ^^ (if you wanted the same fabric, I could give you a pretty good deal, since I have a LOT of it.

I will order my boots tommorow(because I can't decide between two types of boots), and when I'll have them, I would try to make best pics for you.
But I would love a pair of white spats with black buttons (If it is possible of course! :) )

Payment would be fine by paypal. And I can get you a quote for a price once I go look at material. You just want plain white, no patterns or anything in the fabric? But it will basically be materials plus about $20 (they take me about two hours to make). Plus shipping, which shouldn't be much at all, realistically, as I can probably stick them in an envelope, and ship them via letter post.

Just keep in mind they make a number of weeks to get to you, since you live in Poland (according to your profile).

But yes, definitely send me a note when you get your boots all figured out! Payment would definitely be by paypal.

And yes, I have my country in mind. I used to wait about month to get package from Hongkong. I'm okay about the time. :)

Price is okay. I was looking for spats on etsy.com but there were no classic white spats and the prices WITHOUT shipping were just cosmic.

Alrighty, I just had to make sure you knew. ^^ I've had a couple people from the US get upset at me because they don't realize that I live in Canada, and that it still counts as international, and can take up to six weeks sometimes.

Well, if I were to list it on Etsy I might charge a wee bit more, but since this way etsy doesn't get to take any of my fees, and since I do this mostly for a hobby anyway, I don't mind. ^^ Besides, I'm not a top notch professionally trained seamstress of anything such, so I've no business charging that much anyway.

Alrighty. I have similar shoes/boots, so I will try to cut to fit that style. What size are they?
