He was also made, like the last one, using some square wire aluminum; I love this stuff because it has more edges, thus more facets, thus more places for light to hit, and thus LOTS MORE SHINY!  :D

those square rings are pretty awesome. I've got a few small ones I tend to use for eyes as it makes them stand out just that bit more from the rest of the face. The combo of square, round, and rubber rings you've got going in the tail there looks pretty cool :D

are those the 'white' rings you've used in the tail? they look slightly less shiny than the others.

Yes, they're white ones; the white ones have a matte finish, they aren't shiny.  I believe the white is achieved by some sort of acid etching to the metal, or something similar.
